Overview
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Account Director to join our growing Melbourne team. As an Account Director you will play a key role in leading on the delivery of unified campaigns and building strong client partnerships - overseeing the execution of both day-to-day relationships and campaign executions, whilst helping reach key business objectives.
Who you are:
- You are an ambitious Account Director with 4-6 years of experience in an agency or a similar creative environment
- You have experience delivering multi-channel campaigns and projects including PR, social, events and influencer marketing
- You have experience in leading client relationships - providing consultancy to drive results and organic growth of campaigns
- You are entrepreneurial - you have a desire to seek out new opportunities to expand Manifest’s remit with existing clients as well as drive new business growth
- You are commercially minded - being able to deliver projects profitably and on time
- You are a confident and engaging presenter - with experience of new business development
- You have experience managing a team - including the development and training of junior members of staff
- You recognise the importance of true teamwork and collaboration and are willing to roll up your sleeves and dive into the work
- You want to be part of the growing Australian team, whilst working as part of the global Manifest team
What you’ll do
- Run existing accounts, driving forward the new business process and participating in business development as part of the senior team
- Takes a lead on client management, results generation and organic growth of account
- Provides consultancy to clients – establishing a position of respect and influence with clients to push through bold campaign ideas and keep plans on track
- Keeps a detailed track of internal profitability/time management and the reports this to the Group Leadership team, alongside solutions for potential issues
- Takes a proactive role in lead generation, approaching prospects, developing creds materials and case studies, preparing and presenting pitches and proposals, closing sales, coordinating team contributions to the overall new business process
- Contributes to the day-to-day running of the Manifest office, including proactive suggestions for improving the working environment
- Helps to maintain a harmonious working culture, tackling smaller team issues and eliminating factors that undermine the Manifest values
